The office manager and reception staff are the nicest, most polite, and helpful of any healthcare staff I've encountered. The hygienist, who cleans my teeth, is likewise lovely and gentle. Dr. Carl is thorough and skilled, and he's also a dog lover, which says a lot about a person, in my humble opinion. He explains everything before and during the procedure, you can feel relaxed to rely on a true professional. He is conservative with his decisions, which I value. It is refreshing to have a skilled opinion and not to feel pressured into unnecessary procedures out of fear. His staff also spends time with you, explaining procedures and answering all of your questions. “I came to Dr. Carl because my previous dentist wanted to use porcelain in a filling which would cost over a grand (this was ten years ago) and he wouldn't give me any other options. He said ‘you would be able to see a dark filling when I smiled.’ This tooth is the last before my gag reflex! Who the heck going to see that far back! “Dr. Carl has been our family dentist for at least ten years. He explains everything he does or plans on doing so you can make an educated decision. Wait time to see him is maybe five minutes tops. While you are waiting, you can enjoy his big-screen HD TV in the waiting room. Very easy to make an appointment or ask a question. He always has the latest dental equipment available for his patients. His office staff is also a pleasure to work with. If we have a concern, question, family emergency, etc. we call Karen and she is always available to help you with a smile. It is just a great atmosphere at Dr. Carl’s office.” – D. P.
